Flexible Working Conditions

Anglican Care recognises the need for work/life balance. Given the nature of our organisation and the fact that some of our areas operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, there is some flexibility in accommodating staff needs.  In consultation with your Manager, days and hours that can be worked may be negotiated.

Salary Packaging

Salary packaging allows employees to make substantial savings to their take-home pay by reducing pre-tax income and therefore the amount of tax paid.  There are a wide range of items staff can use to package including rent, mortgage, loans etc.

Anglican Care is able to offer this benefit as the organisation operates under the public benevolent institution status and therefore exempt from paying Fringe Benefits Tax on benefits up to $15,900 p.a. gross.  Salary packaging is available to full-time and part-time staff through our provider Maxxia.

Immunisation Program

We provide our employees with assessment, screening and vaccination against specified infectious diseases in accordance with the NSW Health Department Policy Directive.
