Anglican Care provides residential care to those seniors who are not able to remain living in their own homes or with loved-ones due to their need for greater assistance with daily living. We provide a variety of care options to meet individual needs including low care (hostel), high care (nursing home), dementia specific care and extra services. We offer 'ageing in place' on a case by case basis with the over-riding goal of providing the most appropriate care to meet the needs of our residents.
Residential Care provides assistance and supervision with personal care, activity programs, individual support and programs, rehabilitation, hairdressing, beautician, welfare and chaplaincy support and therapies.
Our residential care services provide care that is designed to enrich and enhance the lifestyle of our residents. The Anglican Care staff at each of our facilities provides a loving family environment for our residents and their families, with preventative care one of our top priorities. Residents are encouraged to bring some of their own personal possessions to make their room their own 'home'.
Residential facilities also provide bus trips, concerts, bingo, friendship club, games (including inter-facility competitions), men's group, BBQ's etc.
Unique to Anglican Care, is the role of the Resident Liaison Officer. Located within each of our residential aged care facilities, the role of the Resident Liaison Officer is to ensure that the individual and social wellbeing needs of our residents are met according to Anglican Care's mission, vision and values. The Resident Liaison Officers also act as a liaison for residents and relatives with due regard to the Charter of Residents Rights and Responsiblities.
Residential care is available to any person who has received an assessment from the Aged Care Assessment Team. A financial assessment will be completed prior to admission to ascertain whether an Accommodation Bond for Low Care or an Accommodation Charge for High Care will be applicable. Concessions are available. You will be assessed to pay a daily fee according to Commonwealth Guidelines.
