Flexible Working Conditions
Anglican Care recognises the need for work/life balance. Because our facilities operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, there is some flexibility in accommodating staff needs. In consultation with the Facility Manager, days and hours that can be worked may be negotiated.
Health Lifestyles and Benefits
Anglican Care recognises the importance of a balanced lifestyle and offers a range of activities and benefits for employees, such as corporate rate private health insurance. Staff are also invited to join Anglican Care's Social Club. Appropriate facilities/equipment to enhance break and meal times are also provided for staff.
Employee Assistance
Staff are provided with the opportunity to seek confidential and independent assistance from qualified and experienced counsellors when faced with problems of a work or personal nature. This is provided free of charge.
Learning and Development
Anglican Care is committed to developing the capability of our staff. Employees are encouraged to undertake training activities related to their employment in order to improve their personal and professional development.
Salary Packaging
Salary packaging allows employees to make substantial savings to their take-home pay by reducing pre-tax income and therefore the amount of tax paid. There are a wide range of items staff can use to package including rent, mortgage and loans.
Anglican Care is able to offer this benefit as the organisation operates under the public benevolent institution status and is therefore exempt from paying Fringe Benefits Tax on benefits up to $16,049 p.a. gross. Salary packaging is available to full-time and part-time staff.
Immunisation Program
We provide our employees with assessment, screening and vaccination against specified infectious diseases in accordance to NSW Health Department Policy Directive.
