Hotel Services

The goal of Anglican Care’s Hotel Services team is to ensure the provision of excellent service to Anglican Care’s residents to enhance their quality of life.  The Hotel Services team consists of experienced, dedicated and professional staff with a commitment to quality service at all levels of the organisation.

Anglican Care provides Hotel Services (kitchens/serverys-meals , cleaning department, laundry on-site  or services) to all of our residential aged care facilities.  Each facility has a Hotel Service Coordinator on site to supervise the provision of these services. The Food Production Unit located on the Booragul site produces the cook/chill method of cookery to our residents, with salads and sandwiches being produced fresh at each site on a daily basis.

The Food Production Unit provides a summer and winter menu with changes made prior to the annual implementation.  Menus are assessed by a dietician and each review is based upon the Australian Guide to Healthy Eating and the Dietary Guidelines for Older Australians and the Nutrition Guidelines for Residential Aged Care Facilities (2000. Alison Stewart, APD).

Hotel Services has an in-depth menu selection process conducted directly with each resident or a family representative to ensure optimum satisfaction of food choices.
