What is Home Care, and how can I access it?
Many seniors, while they don’t yet want or need to live in a nursing home or community, could use help and assistance in their day-to-day lives. Home care provides such care and services for people in need, in their own home.
The Australian Government provides a subsidy to approved home care providers such as Anglican Care, towards a package of care, services and case management to meet individual needs. There are different levels of home care packages to support people with basic care needs, through to those who need high level care. Each level of home care packages provides a different subsidy amount, which contributes to the total cost of the services and care.
Anglican Care provides a range of home care packages and support services across the Hunter, Central Coast and Mid Coast Regions in NSW. They can work with you to choose the services to meet your or your loved ones’ needs, which may include personal care, allied health, transport or nursing care.
Anglican Care prides itself on knowing their local communities and environments well. They employ qualified and experienced staff to ensure seniors receive the quality of care and information they deserve, to help them to live independently in their own home.
Anglican Care is here to help you or your loved one to continue to live a healthy and active life for as long as possible. Our team of clinicians is there to support those in our care, if they experience any health conditions that may impact on their wellbeing or quality of life. Our focus is on nutrition, therapies and providing activities that those we care for will enjoy participating in.
