Care Assistant - Careers Open Day
The opportunity
Newcastle Anglican are holding a careers open day for Care Assistants looking to join one of our facilities in Newcastle/Lake Macquarie. The open day will be held on 17th October in Booragul and run for approximately 1 – 2 hours.
The open day will give you the opportunity to meet with current staff and have a tour of CA Brown Lodge in Booragul.
Only people who hold the relevant qualifications and experience will be invited to the open day.
Shifts available: Afternoon & Nights available

Role & Responsibilities:
- Actively promote Anglican Care’s positive culture through interactions with residents, staff and their families
- Consistent delivery of person centered care to residents in our facilities
- Observe confidentiality matters at all times associated with documentation and communications
- Abide by Aged Care Standards
- Work as an effective team member
About you?
- Certificate III/IV in Individual Support
- Current First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement) or willing to obtain
- An ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to accurately document residents care/progress
