The services offer a range of innovative respite, lifestyle, and allied health and therapies to promote healthy ageing.We are looking for vibrant and naturally caring people to join our team at ELMDS day centre. You will spend the day supporting our consumers and helping them have a great day by getting involved in daily activities, games and fun!This role is for 1 day per week – Friday + additional coverage as required during leave periods.Why Work for us? Certificate III in Aged Care Work or equivalentProven ability to deliver person centre care that respects the dignity and worth of the individualCurrent First Aid Certificate (ongoing requirement)Current driver’s licenceAble to work effectively as an individual and as part of a teamWillingness to undertake further on the job training in palliative and dementia careFlexibility and the ability to multi task and prioritise workloadAn understanding of safe work practices, proven experience in the use of appropriate manual handling techniques.
